When is the best time to visit the Maldives to really enjoy your vacation? That is easy to answer. Between November and April is the dry season of the archipelago. In general, it is said that March is the most beautiful travel month for a Maldives vacation. From May to October, on the other hand, the island chain is dominated by the rainy season, which is also accompanied by showers, storms and thunderstorms. So if you don't want to go through the monsoon, it's better to visit the islands in winter or spring.

What is the weather like in the Maldives?

The Maldives are located close to the equator, so the climate there is tropical. The temperatures are between 29° C and 32° C all year round. At night, the degree numbers drop slightly to a still warm 24° C to 26° C. The water temperature also varies little throughout the year. Pleasant 25° C to 32° C are the average. This means that nothing stands in the way of diving, snorkeling and swimming!
