Ginger Shot Classic / Turmeric / Pomegranate (formerly GingerTRINK)
Our Shot range has evolved over time. The Classic Ginger Shot was joined first by Turmeric and then Pomegranate. However, the most important ingredient - ginger pieces - remained the same in all shots. So, in keeping with this, our naming logic also had to improve to keep pace. Accordingly,
is now: Ginger Shot + Flavor. So: Ginger Shot Classic, Ginger Shot Turmeric and Ginger Shot Pomegranate.

Of course, we know that some people think of an alcoholic drink when they hear the word "shot". But we named our drinks that way because - like alcoholic shots - they are drunk in one sip (about 30 ml)!

Closed, our ginger shots have a shelf life of 24 months from bottling - the best-before date is printed on the bottle cap. The prerequisite for this is cool, dark storage. When opened, the shots will keep for at least 12 days in the refrigerator.

Unopened, our ginger shots do not need to be refrigerated. However, most of our customers like them best when slightly chilled.

Once opened, they should be stored in a cool, dark place in the refrigerator. Opened they keep at least 12 days in the refrigerator.

Our recommendation is to drink one shot (30 ml) pure every day. With an amount of 30 ml per day, your body is already supplied with the most important substances contained in ginger. But of course it is up to you how many shots you want to enjoy every day.

Because of the natural production process, you need to shake the bottle well before drinking so that the delicious pieces of ginger are distributed throughout the bottle.

It can happen that the ingredients in our shots separate and settle in the bottle. This is because we only use natural ingredients and each of them has a different consistency. So, no need to worry! Give the bottle a good shake before drinking.

The ginger is handpicked, because only the best pieces are used for further processing. We have developed our own processing and filling method which involves cutting the ginger in a particularly careful, consistent and refined way.

Freshly harvested ginger has a skin, which is white and practically invisible. Only through contact with the air does the typical brown skin form, which we also like to call the peel. It is part of the natural drying process. We want to ensure a consistent, fresh flavour sensation for our customers and therefore carefully peel the ginger to maintain this level of quality.

To ensure that our products have a long shelf life without the addition of preservatives and still taste like homemade, we have developed our own technology. During the production process, the ginger shots are gently heated so that the valuable ingredients are preserved.

Our products are manufactured in Germany and Austria.

Our drinks are both vegan and vegetarian since we do not use any animal ingredients.

As well as carefully selecting the suppliers of our raw ingredients, we continuously monitor product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process, right up to the finished product. Not only the individual ingredients are certified organic, all the companies that produce and process the ingredients are, too.

Pectin is a plant-based gelling agent. It gives liquids a creamy texture and in this way helps to keep the ginger pieces suspended in the bottle for a long time, thereby creating an optimal mouth feel. This makes every sip really enjoyable and the spicy ginger boost doesn’t just kick in at the end.

That has to do with maintaining a consistent product quality. Fresh lemon juice always tastes slightly different depending on the where the fruit is grown, the amount of sunshine it gets and its degree of ripeness when it is harvested – sometimes it is sweeter, other times it is very acidic. This is why we use lemon juice concentrate to ensure that the taste remains balanced and consistent. The best organic quality – naturally!

From the very beginning, it was very important to us to stick as close as possible to the original version when producing our ginger shots. Pressing and squeezing ginger makes it taste stale. Instead, ginger needs to be chopped finely and processed quickly. There are good reasons for this. The greater the cut surface, the better the ingredients - which means the flavours can mix with and enrich each other. In addition, the essential oils contained in ginger disperse very quickly. The faster you process ginger, the more you gain from it. Reasons enough for us to develop our own careful processing method. This makes manufacturing our products very time-consuming and labour-intensive, but we believe that it’s worth it.

Agave syrup is a natural sweetener obtained from the agave plant. In the original monastery recipe, which is the basis for our drinks, naturally refined sugar was used. Since this usually contains hardly any valuable minerals, is not well suited for diabetics and in order to make the taste and consistency more harmonious, we have replaced the refined sugar with the natural sweetness of the agave.

Shipment tracking:
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail from DHL with your shipment details - this e-mail often automatically ends up in the spam folder. You can track your shipment with this information. If something gets broken on the way, the parcel automatically gets sent back to us. DHL will also inform you about this using the shipment tracking system. This is also where you can set an alternative delivery date or specify a drop-off location for your parcel.
