After the start-up from the metropolitan region of Nuremberg already received several awards last year, including the German Brand Award and the Product Innovation in Glass, Kloster Kitchen has now been honoured again for its innovative Organic Power Drinks: with the German Innovation Award 2021!

Innovation you can taste!

The valuable knowledge from a traditional recipe from the monastery kitchen, the careful handling of the treasures of nature and the combination with fresh ideas for tomorrow and delicious ginger pieces instead of cold-pressed juice or concentrate ensure the unique taste experience that also convinced the German Design Council.
Instead of pressed ginger juice, ginger puree or ginger concentrate, Kloster Kitchen uses a specially developed process to put whole pieces of ginger into the bottles, so it couldn't be closer to nature. In this way, the valuable active ingredients and trace elements of the ginger are preserved. And all this in organic quality and vegan.

The German Innovation Award: The prize that makes innovation visible

The German Innovation Award 2021 honors cross-industry products and solutions that distinguish themselves from previous solutions primarily through user-centeredness and added value. It makes great achievements visible to a broad audience and ensures successful positioning in the market. Winning the German Innovation Award 2021 now demonstrates the innovative spirit of Kloster Kitchen. However, with the award, the "German Design Council" also recognizes the social, ecological and economic sustainability as well as the use of energy and resources of the start-up from the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Factors such as location and employment potential, longevity, market maturity, technical quality and synergy effects also play a decisive role in the award. Instead of popping champagne corks, the motto at Kloster Kitchen is now: shake and quietly tingle!

About Kloster Kitchen

On a journey to the roots of good taste, company founder Mario Fürst came across the ginger tuber. And on a recipe handed down from the monastery kitchen. This is also where the brand name Kloster Kitchen comes from. The secret of the start-up company from the Nuremberg metropolitan region is that the tubers are neither crushed nor pressed nor ground thanks to a processing method developed by the company itself. Thanks to tasty ginger pieces, the valuable active ingredients and trace elements are preserved in the best possible way and ensure a unique taste experience. The products are 100 percent organic and 100 percent vegan. They contain zero percent refined sugar, zero percent colourings and preservatives, and zero percent artificial flavours. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Kloster Kitchen products can be found in retail chains such as REWE, EDEKA, Karstadt Lebensmittel, Kaufland, Famila and Hit, in wholesalers (Metro), in organic markets such as DENNS, in drugstores such as dm and Rossmann and in restaurants. Or conveniently with just a few clicks in the online shop.
