HEIZOMAT P/B KLOSTER KITCHEN ENGAGES SWISS MASTER CRAFTSMAN
The cyclocross cycling team Heizomat p/b Kloster Kitchen has signed a top-class newcomer for the 2023/24 season. Timon Rüegg, the reigning Swiss cyclocross champion, joins the Franconians with immediate effect from the French cross team Legendre.
"We are very happy that we could win Timon for our team", team manager Stefan Herrmann is pleased. "He is a top rider who will take us further up the UCI world rankings."
Rüegg is a versatile rider who is at home on all surfaces. He is a strong sprinter and also has excellent technique.
"I'm really looking forward to the new challenge," says Rüegg. "I want to be among the world leaders with the Heizomat team."
The first event for Rüegg in the new team is already next weekend at the cross-country race in Illnau, Switzerland.
