HEIZOMAT P/B KLOSTER KITCHEN DOMINATES IN THE FEDERAL LEAGUE
Last weekend, the Querfeldein-Bundesliga was once again the scene of impressive performances by Team Heizomat powered by Kloster Kitchen from Gunzenhausen/Baiersdorf. First and foremost Judit Krahl and the Swiss newcomer Timon Ruegg.
Judit Krahl, the reigning German Elite Champion, showed her superiority on both race days in Bad Salzdetfurth and rode to a commanding first place on both the first and second day.
Swiss champion Timon Ruegg showed his skills on the first day of racing, defeating 2022 U23 World Champion Joran Wyseure (Alpecin - Deceuninck) by 13 seconds. On the second day, only a rear wheel defect prevented another victory, so he had to settle for second place.
Lars Sommer, also from Switzerland, finished fourth on Day 1 and, along with teammate Hannes Degenkolb, who was sixth, provided a strong presence for Heizomat. The 19-year-old German U23 champion Degenkolb showed his class as the best German rider.

With the excellent results in Bad Salzdetfurth, the team was able to collect valuable UCI points and extend its lead in the national league.
On the other side of the Atlantic, a team member from Heizomat also caused a sensation in recent weeks. Loris Rouiller, another newcomer from Switzerland this season, took part in the USCX races in Rochester and Virginia and achieved excellent results. In Virginia, he took first place on both race days, and in Rochester he finished third on both days.
It will be interesting to see which successes Team Heizomat powered by Kloster Kitchen will celebrate in this cyclocross season. With the current form nothing stands in the way of a successful season.
