HEIZOMAT P/B KLOSTER KITCHEN PRESENTS STRONG TEAM 23/24

The Gunzenhausen/Baiersdorf cyclocross cycling team Heizomat p/b Kloster Kitchen has presented its team for the upcoming 2023/24 cyclocross season. With top-class riders and an impressive support crew, the team promises an exciting and successful season.

The team will start the 2023/24 cyclocross season with two elite riders, four U23 riders and one junior rider in the U19 class, as well as one elite and one U23 female rider each.

At the team presentation, the management and sporting directors around Stefan Herrmann and Roman Jördens introduced in particular the newcomers Jule Märkl (U23), the two Swiss riders Loris Rouiller (elite, former U19 European vice champion) and Finn Treudler (U23) as well as young rider Benedikt Benz (U19, German road champion U17). Also pleasing is the return of the reigning German champion in the elite and multiple German champion in the U19, Judith Krahl.

The newcomers complement the existing team with the reigning German U23 champion Hannes Degenkolb, Lukas Herrmann (elite), Fabian Eder (U23) and the Swiss Lars Sommer (U23).

Team boss Stefan Herrmann on the team's main goals this season:

"Our goals are clearly defined. Nationally, we want to defend and expand our German championship titles, dominate the Bundesliga and also set our sights on the Swiss championship. Internationally, we are aiming for top ten finishes or even podium places in the C1/UCI races and in the World Cup. We also hope for many nominations for the European Championships in France and the World Championships in Tabor/Czech Republic by the BDR."

Herrmann emphasized that some races and key events are of particular importance this year. The "Munich Super Cross" in Munich's Olympic Park at the end of October deserves special mention. "For us as a Bavarian team, this event is like a home game, and the atmosphere and mood in the Olympic Park is unique in Germany."

Sports Director Roman Jördens emphasized the importance of good team chemistry and a well-functioning support team. "It is important that there is harmony in the team between the drivers and the support staff. The quality of the support has a direct impact on the performance of the drivers. The entire environment around it is one of the decisive factors for success." With a large support staff, including 5 mechanics and 3 physiotherapists, the team is well equipped.

In terms of equipment, the team relies on proven material, including the CUBE CX 68 with special team paint from sponsor CUBE, tubeless tires from Schwalbe, and wheels from NEWMAN.

The cyclocross cycling team Heizomat p/b Kloster Kitchen is looking forward to the upcoming season with excitement and is ready for the start in LĂĽtzelbach and Bensheim next weekend.
