CHOCOLATE EASTER NESTS
INGREDIENTS
- 200 g dark chocolate (80-85%)
- 2 tablespoons of VITAL FLOW
- Optional: 1 teaspoon coconut oil (melted)
- 80 g spelt flakes / cornflakes without sugar
- 8 small muffin paper cases
- Decoration: Fresh berries, chocolate marzipan Easter eggs
PREPARATION
If you want to make your own Easter baskets, this recipe is just right for you. With just a few ingredients, you can whip up delicious and pretty baskets in no time, which are perfect as an Easter surprise or small gift. First, carefully melt the dark chocolate, either in a double boiler or in the microwave, and then let it cool briefly. Meanwhile, roughly crush the spelt flakes or sugar-free cornflakes in a freezer bag—if you like, you can also use a rolling pin to crush the flakes evenly.
The cooled chocolate is then mixed with 2 tablespoons of Vital Flow before the crumbled flakes and, optionally, some melted coconut oil are added. The finished mixture can then be quickly shaped into chocolate nests by filling small muffin cases with it. Leave a small hollow in the middle of each nest and place two Easter eggs or fresh berries in it. The nests must then be left to harden completely at room temperature before being carefully removed from the cases.
In no time at all, you can create delicious homemade Easter baskets that not only look great, but are also healthy Easter recipes, as they contain no refined sugar and feature valuable ingredients such as spelt flakes and Vital Flow. Perfect for anyone who wants to celebrate Easter creatively and consciously.
