NOT ONLY MEDIA ARE SOCIAL WITH US

NOT ONLY MEDIA ARE SOCIAL WITH US

As we have learned, sustainability does not only refer to the environment. The social side of sustainability should not be ignored either. You can read what Kloster Kitchen is doing about it here ↓

LEBENSHILFE BAMBERG + SOUTHERN THURINGIA

We also want to do a little bit of good in the last stage in the production of our ginger shots. We thought for a long time about how we could proceed in a sustainable way. After careful consideration, we then decided to work together with two Lebenshilfen from our region.

Now, some of you may be asking yourself: Lebenshilfe - what does that even mean? Lebenshilfe is a non-profit organization that works to ensure that people with disabilities can be a normal part of our society. Whether it's school assistance, work and education or living in old age - Lebenshilfe provides support wherever possible. Among other things, the association also offers jobs for people with disabilities, and that's where Kloster Kitchen comes in.

We want to support the mission of Lebenshilfe. That's why there is work from Lebenshilfe behind every package from Kloster Kitchen . When something needs to be packed, for example like our 1SHOTs in the 7-pack, either Lebenshilfe Bamberg or Lebenshilfe Südthüringen does it.

INSIDE KLOSTER KITCHEN

Social sustainability externally is important. But we also want to support our employees internally in this regard. Here is a breakdown of some of our social sustainability goals:

  • Compliance with labor and human rights
  • No poverty
  • Health and well-being
  • High-quality education
  • Gender equality

We offer a fair salary and ensure that our employees feel comfortable. But not only that, we also want to continue to promote a conscious lifestyle among our employees. For example, we offer a free annual license at Gymondo and weekly and monthly sports sessions to help our employees stay fit. Monthly and annual training courses are also standard for us. This ensures that no one misses out on important developments in their area of work.
